Did You Know?

The Vermont Inn was originally a farmhouse built in the 1840s by the Eggleston family, from Connecticut. They lived on the farm from the early 1820’s until 1882.

In the 1930’s George Silver Sr. and Jr. established the farmhouse as a stopping place for travelers.  The Vermont Inn has been proudly hosting travelers for over 85 years and we plan on continuing that tradition for many years to come!
